Menu Plan Monday: March 30th
I am still going through the process of cleaning out my freezer and pantry. I won’t be able to make it completely without a grocery trip, but I’ll come close I think. These are not necessarily scrumptious meals (actually kind of strange perhaps LoL) but I am determined to clear out all the old food and start [...]

Focus Friday March 27
Looking back on what I accomplished this week, I was disappointed that I didn’t get more done. Stayed up too late, got going too late in the mornings, and took too many breaks! Can you tell I wasn’t very motivated?
When it is rainy I want to sit on my rump and take it easy, sip [...]
Home schooling can be PHUN!

Please post on your blog a thought worth pondering and leave your name & blog title on Mr Linky with your URL to your blog post. Thank you and [...]
Countertop Compost Bucket
Nothing spectacular today, but I thought I would share my perhaps unusual “compost bucket.”
I’ve seen people use those huge ice cream buckets or just a plate or even a large feed bucket. But I wanted something that was fairly attractive to sit on my counter AND something with an easy to remove lid.
I [...]
THE Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup
This is my very own recipe that took years to develop. I would try several recipes until I created THE Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup. THE Absolutely Ultimate Potato Soup is actually a combination of several recipes. Each potato soup recipe I would try, I would like a certain aspect but didn’t like the taste, [...]
Tackle It Tuesday ~ Baking
I have many tasks to accomplish today, such as trying to at least get the potatoes and onions in the garden before it rains tonight, reporting the children’s grades (I keep procrastinating!), preparation of meals, homeschooling, laundry, & house cleaning etc…but the one task I am most excited about today is baking! So that will [...]

For Today…Outside my window… the sun is just beginning to make an appearance over the horizon and the weather man promises it will be a glorious spring day filled with sunshine & warmth!
I am thinking… today is full of new opportunities to let my light so shine before my children. I was so convicted in [...]
