I am going to link to a book review done by Keepers of the Faith on the Elsie Dinsmore books. These books are immensly popular among Christians it seems, so I wanted to pass this review along to my friends who may already own them or are considering buying them. I have often trusted a particular source for books and have discovered too late I should have been more careful and screened the books for the children better.

I have often seen those books advertised in some chrisitan publications, but was always skeptical. Thanks for the review! Hope unpacking and settling in is still going good for you!

I just happened onto your sight. My husband is a new full-time pastor in SC. I enjoyed reading your post. I understand the not being a “perfect” pastor’s wife. Can’t wait till someone writes a manual.
