Encourage Yourself

I have been struggling with some things lately and sort of feeling a little alone…that the Lord wasn’t really too awfully concerned with me. I was sharing these struggles with my husband last night and while it felt good to talk about it, I was still frustrated with myself and still felt God was a million miles away.
Then I heard this message…It felt as if the Lord had come alongside me and put His arm around me. It felt so comforting and I had a peace that I’ve not had in months. It was such a relief to get things right with my Friend and Father Jesus Christ.
Maybe you’ll listen to this sermon and get little out of it, but the Lord was the only one that knew my heart and heard my conversation with my husband the previous night. Bro. Ron spoke to my heart and used my very words in his message.
We used to listen to a sermon almost every night, sometimes two, back in Crossville and since we’ve moved we’ve not listened to even 1. But last night I was feeling I needed more preaching and suggested we listen to a sermon. Dearest was fine with it and I suggested a certain preacher and he suggested we listen to Bro. Ron…Hmmmm…sounded good to me so I nonchalantly picked this sermon. After we listened to the message we noticed it just happened to be the sermon he preached the same day we had visited Cornerstone in June, this was the morning sermon and we visited in the evening.
Anyway, you’re all probably thinking I’m nuts
but this message was such a blessing to me I thought I’d share.
Hey, and if you get a blessing out of this message leave me a comment and let me know what you think
