Amid packing and moving this week, the neighborhood children threw a going-away party for our 4 older kids. They had it planned for days and were so excited to do something nice for our family. I appreciate that so much.
It warmed my heart for these almost strangers to tell us we were the best neighbors they’ve ever had and spend time preparing snacks, a cake, balloons, and a card signed by the neighborhood.
Just one of those random acts of kindness that my family won’t forget so soon.
