Great afternoon project

O.K., well it was SUPPOSED to be an afternoon project, but quite frankly it took about 5 hrs. I even had help from a friend and still it took 5 hrs. Does it count that we had 1 nursing infant, one clingy toddler, 4 young boys facing extreme odds on the battlefield in the pouring rain? Oh and I forgot to mention that supper was prepared and eaten and we even found time to sit and talk for a few minutes
So, if you don’t have all the interruptions that I had, perhaps for you it would be an afternoon project.
Click here to see how you can make one. If you don’t wear jeans you can always pick up some for this project at your local thrift store or maybe you know somebody that wants to throw away their kids’ jeans that have the knees worn out. I have another friend that made one out of a denim skirt. So be creative and come up with your own creation!
This particular skirt was made with a pair of boy jeans my son had outgrown and an old sheet I picked up at our thrift store for $3. There was enough material to make 2 maybe 3 skirts!
All in all it was a fun project and I can’t wait to make me one!
