Happy Valentines Day

Well, tonight I am sitting in a hotel room watching National Geographic. After watching a documentary on the assasination of Abraham Lincoln we’re now learning about the deadly creatures in Africa. Quite frightening! I did not know that the python swallows it’s prey whole and can fast for up to a year after eating a large animal! Not exactly the thing to be watching to ensure sweet dreams huh!?
I would much rather be watching Iron Chef America…sigh.

We are mostly moved. We’re hoping to sleep in our new/old home Monday night. We had hoped to be moved in this weekend but because of some extensive plumbing repairs we were delayed. But I’m not complaining…not me.

My Valentine is preaching tomorrow morning. I am looking forward to hearing my favorite preacher. I hadn’t realized how much I missed his preaching. Amazing at how much one can take for granted…

We’re looking forward to a full day of services tomorrow. The church people have planned a welcome fellowship for us tomorrow night. These ladies know how to have a fellowship! Yum! Having been to special services and fellowships there before I know we’re in for a treat!

It’s not felt much like a holiday today. Dearest gave me his card earlier in the week :) and honestly I am grumpy. There, I admitted it. Moving is not my favorite thing and I get out of sorts.

I did have a bright spot in my day…Mythoughtful in-laws babysat the children so Hubby and I could enjoy a meal out together. I enjoyed the one on one time with Dearest immensly and am so thankful for the man the Lord blessed me with. He is exactly what I need (even though I don’t always want to admit it )

Well, it’s late and I am so very tired. Tomorrow will be here soon. Hope you all have good services Sunday!

Rebecca, Yes we’re back! We’ve held off getting together with anybody until we got settled in, but I believe we’re all moved in. I will try and call this week. Bobby works 5 days a week 6 am – 2 pm, so tell me what a good time is for us to do something. I know Nathan would like for him and Ben to explore these woods so maybe you all could come over for lunch or supper?

Sis. Claudia, thank you sister. We are in Crossville now, Bobby just started his new job this week. The Lord just opened the doors wide open for this job. It was such a relief after looking for a job in Knoxville for a yr and to come home and get one offered to you on the spot. PTL for His goodness. I guess the biggest thing to pray with me about is that I will get my health under control. Nothing major now, but if I don’t snap back into shape and do what I know to do it has the potential to get worse. With the 2 moves in 6 months and other issues I struggled with some depression and I am thankfully on the other side now. So just pray I stay encouraged too. We love you both and pray for your ministry. Next time you’re in Crossville, let me fix a meal for you two.
