Simple Woman’s Daybook ~ April 13

For Today…Outside my window… cool, windy & cloudy. I just received a severe weather alert for our area. The umpteenth one for this week!
I am thinking… that I hope the weather won’t be too awful. We had plans to go to the zoo for Andrew & Noah’s birthday today but because of the weather we’re scrambling for option B.
From the learning rooms… the twins have finished their school for the first grade and are enjoying a day off for their birthday. The older 2 are doing a ½ days worth of work so we can all enjoy the twins birthday!
I am thankful for… my lap top. Thank you to my father-in-law for my Christmas present! It is still new and exciting and makes me feel so spoiled & rich! LoL
From the kitchen… birthday cake! Chocolate cake with chocolate icing.
I am wearing… still PJ’s. Plaid pajama pants, camisole, robe.
I am reading… still reading “What the Bible Says About Healthy Living” and dutifully perusing the many magazines I have accumulating on m coffee table. I simply cannot put them away in our magazine storage area without reading them. Can you say OCD!?
I am hoping… to have a great family day!
I am creating… I am trying to learn about digital scrapbooking…Yet another interest I really don’t have the time for!
I am hearing… the twins playing trains & laughing.
Around the house… a couple loads of laundry, but that’s about it as we’ll be gone most of the day.
One of my favorite things… church. I love Sundays so very much. I love our Preacher. I love our Preacher’s wife. I love the people. I love my SS kids. I wish Sundays came more often! J
A few plans for the rest of the week… cleaning out the van, painting Nathan’s room, playing with my new camera (WHEN will it get here!?).
