Value Menu @ Sonic

Going out to eat is a rare treat for us, but occasionally we’ll splurge. In the summer especially I like to take the children to the park and have a picnic. Sometimes after a trip to the park we’ll run by Sonic for Happy Hour when their drinks are 1/2 price.
Recently we had been working in the garden all day and to reward and refresh the children I drove up the road and got everyone a lime aide. It had been awhile since I had been to Sonic so I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a value menu!
For $1 Sonic offers
- Jr. Deluxe Burger
- Chicken Strip Sandwich (with real chicken!)
- Jr. Breakfast Burrito
- Jr. Fritos Chili Cheese Wrap
- Small tots
- Small fries
- Small Soft Drink
- Small Slush
- Vanilla Cone
- Jr. Candy Sundae
If we bring drinks from home or order water the children and I can pick up lunch for an impromptu picnic for less than $15.
For an occasional surprise treat this definitely Works for Me!

We love the Sonic value menu! We’ve decided that the chicken strip sandwich is the best value- very filling!
There’s nothing better than impromptu picnics in the Summer. Enjoy!

My kids would love this as we rarely go out to eat.
